Since 2007, we annually host the one-week career event called “Banking Days” which take place on the KIT Campus during each summer semester. The idea is to provide an opportunity for interested students to get in contact with prestigious companies of the financial sector. Therefore, RISK invites renowned institutions, like investment banks and management consulting firms, to Karlsruhe. The students need then to apply for workshops, presentations, case studies and interviews offered by the companies in order to get valuable insights of working in the financial sector.

While the KIT students use the Banking Days as a career stepping stone in the financial industry, participating companies value the opportunity to present themselves in front of ambitious and talented students.

All in all, the objective of the Banking Days is to provide students and companies a platform for communication and networking.
